Our Mission

Main Street Schoolhouse Language Institute is a unique multicultural school that prepares post-graduate international students to attain English skills in small interactive classes to continue their professional goals in U.S. Universities or to excel in their career choice, and provides activities and services that promote friendship and cultural transition.

 For this Academic year we are looking for professionals that identify with our mission.

Position: Teachers

                             Full-Time Positions:                                                                    Part-Time Positions:                                       

 Monday-Friday, from 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8Hr)                      Monday-Friday, from 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM (4Hr)

 Monday-Friday, from 01:00 AM to 9:00 PM (8Hr)                      Monday-Friday, from 05:00 AM to 9:00 PM (4Hr)

Education And Experience Required:          Bachelor’s Degree, related ESL or TESOL.

Master’s Degrees preferred.

Professional Certification          TESOL Certification or working on it.

Experience:                                      2 years of teaching ESL

Essential Skills / Abilities Required:            

  • Ability to work as a cooperative and supportive team member.
  • Ability to work in a cultural diversity organization.
  • Has good writing and verbal skills

Other characteristics such as personal characteristics:    

  • Pro-active
  • Friendly and kind
  • Respects cultural diversity

Qualified Candidates will be responsible for:
Classroom management, fulfilling assigned schedule, maintaining accurate student attendance and grade records, and ensuring opportunities for student evaluation. Reports directly to the Director of the school.
